Yosh

The Chinese character for Yosh means "fragrant." Yosh Han began her perfuming career in 1994, when she walked into a boutique in Aspen, Colorado with hundreds of bottles on the wall and knew she was onto something. She talked to the manager about getting a job there, but was told they weren't hiring. But still Yosh insisted that she was destined to work at that shop- even though she wasn't quite sure what kind of shop it was.

Finally, the owner came out of the back room and asked what the debate was all about. The manager explained that somehow, this person Yosh seemed to think she was supposed to be there. The owner responded, "Well, if she thinks she's supposed to be here, let's see what she's supposed to do."

Over her two-year apprenticeship as a perfumer, Yosh learned to identify and combine the healing essential oils and sensual perfume essences in each of those bottles. Today Yosh uses these elixirs in her own modern practice of the ancient art of perfumery, creating signature scents that entice the senses, fascinate the mind, and enchant the soul.
