I started dish in 1996, in Berkeley, CA. My goal was to create a place that not only had amazing fashion, but also delivered stellar customer service. There are plenty of stores that have great fashion, but I wanted to offer something that was more personal and community based. With a background in fashion that started when I was 16, I brought together a carefully curated store filled with new innovative designers as well as established lines that stand for quality and design.

When I set my sights on my second location, Hayes Valley had not quite been discovered. But now the neighborhood has blossomed into a thriving and hip destination for eating and shopping. The San Francisco store itself boasts clean lines, modern decor and a spacious feeling, and is a perfect back drop for lines such as Rachel Comey, Raquel Allegra, Inhabit and Nellie Partow.
